CELEBRATIONS:

Quote of the Week – This week’s quote went to Olivia for being a rainbow in someone else’s cloud!

Mystery Reader – This week our class had TWO mystery readers! Mrs. Kuiper’s sister, Miss Natalie, surprised us on Thursday and RJ’s mom surprised us on Friday!

OUR LEARNING:

Reading–  Students learned all about the characters in their books and studied the difference between inside traits (kind, funny, sad) and outside traits (tall, brown hair, freckles).

Writing – Students continued writing reviews, this week reviewing the best restaurant and school subject.

Math – We continued working on place value, focusing on addition with teen numbers, and doubles (2+2, 3+3) up to 10.

Word Study – Students learned new snap words with the ‘ould’ ending (could, should, would).
